South East Water – the route to validation for automated liquid-liquid extraction method for Organochloro Pesticides
Posted on November 5th, 2018
We’re proud to announce a presentation from South East Water at our Watermation Workshop on the 27th and 28th November.
They’ll share their experience of taking automated LLE method for OCPs through validation and submission to UKAS. The system was installed by Anatune and uses a GERSTEL MultiPurpose Sampler (MPS) with automated liquid-liquid extraction capability.
Getting accreditation can be tricky at the best of times, let alone when changing accepted methods and techniques. Standards are high and the resulting analysis must improve or at the very least match that of the old method.
We are at a tipping point where the increased sensitivity of Mass Spectrometers makes it possible to scale down the manual liquid-liquid extraction methods. This is your chance to learn from their experiences and ask them how they overcame the barriers to benefiting from automated LLE.
